Supermoon

[Mooncry]

First topic message reminder :

My brother, (some of you know him as Lionclaw) told me that tonight is the super moon. It is when the moon is its biggest and brightest each year. I think we should have a special gathering for it. Maybe all the wolves can gather at the highest point there is. You can roleplay getting there and what you do at the gathering. (don't make a new wolf, just roleplay yourself)

[Adelulf]

*Filling in for daddy*

"Nonny, " Saber nudged her playfully, "Don't be mean just 'cause she can't find an Alpha Male." His lips formed a ghostly smile.

[Phenomenon]

~Ok! :}~

"I was just asking! ANd nothing more!" Phenomenon protested embarassedly, but there was hints of arrgoence in her voice.

[Adelulf]

Saber snorted and said, "Southern Pack, come with me!" He dashed off.

[Silentshadow]

Silentshadow narrowed her eyes at Phenomenon and grunted. "There's not much males around here anyways." ~that sounds weird... xD~

[Ice]

A growl rumbled in Ice's throat. She didn't like the Southern Wolves much. "Shall we start the meeting?" she asked Silentshadow, her ears flattened in respect to her alpha.

[Adelulf]

Saber yawned, "I didn't get very much sleep. Adelulf is gonna pay for having to go the dirt place every 5 minutes!"

Saber walked next to Silentshadow, "You can start, if you want."

[Sock]

Sock stayed a few feet behind Phenomenon. She looked intently at the alphas then directed her gaze at the sky.

[Silentshadow]

Silentshadow nodded slightly. "Northern pack is well," she announced. "Prey is plentiful, and human activity is to the minimum. We welcome Garnet Fire, a new member!"

[Adelulf]

"Southern Pack is doing great," Saber's voice rang clearly through the air. "We have more than enough prey, as the prey comes to get warm. And for human activity, they've left since a badger attacked them."

Saber sat back down, looking at all of the wolves. He noted how his wolves had shorter fur, since they lived in the warm. The Southern Pack wolves fur shined brightly in the moonlight, the Northern Pack wolves long fur looked okay to him, too.

[Sock]

Sock easily found the bright moon in the sky. It was huge. She didn't know why the other weren't gazing at it as well.

[Adelulf]

Saber almost let out a gasp as he saw the moon. "It's beautiful," He murmured.

[Sunny Snow]

Chica found herself staring at the intensely bright moon and absolutely unable to speak... It was just purely beautiful.

~I don't know if this is true because it was cloudy... Yeah... It's midnight where I live now. No moon.~

[Gracesong]

Gracesong looked at the moon, and smiled. It reminded her of her old home.

[Silentshadow]

Silentshadow flicked her ears, not as impressed. Northern pack wolves saw the moon all the time in the open tundra. Four seasons ago, she had seen the same sight. A huge, white glowing moon, shedding silvery, soothing light over the whole plain. Silentshadow had spent the entire night hunting benath its glowing light.

[Mooncry]

Mooncry was arriving with her two pups. "Are we there yet?" Blade complained.
"We just got here." The three wolves arrived at the meeting place and the two pups stared around in amazement. "Wow! I've never seen this many wolves in one place in my entire life!" Mooncry was looking at the huge moon.
"Pups, look at the sky. You only get to see this once every four seasons." Blade and Holyblaze stared up at the sky and said, "The moon is HUGE! And its so bright!" They ran around the clearing playing in the snow. Blade flicked some snow at Holyblaze but it hit Saber instead.

[Sock]

Sock gasped. the moon was astonishing. her tail thumped wildly on the ground.

[Gracesong]

Grace saw the moon all the time, but it still reminded her of when she was little and they'd stay up the whole night with her family, just mesmorized by its beauty.

[Phenomenon]

Phenomenon raised her head, her eyes clouded. "Help me find one last beauty Phenomenon, dear." "The moon mother..." "Phenomeno-" "Mother! Please save your breathe! Please!" "Phenomenon, I am going to die, and you will find yourself alone with your sister and your father.." "Mother! No! Please! DON'T GO!" "Don't be scarde darling, it's the Super Moon, tonight my spirit will have....no trouble finding its way to the.....the ranks...of the Spirit WOlves..." "MOTHER!!! Please! Mother! NOOO! Don't go! DOn't leave us! DOn't leave me!" the conversation of her mother's death two years ago flashed into her mind, and Phenomenon stared intently at the moon, her eyes searching.....searching for the one star of her mother. A singel tear rolled down her face, and Phenomenon screamed silently "MOTHER! WHere are you?! WHy can't I find you?! Why can't Aja ever see you?! Where....Where..." Phenomenon ended up whimmpering softly "Mother...where are you now?"

[Sock]

Sock noticed Phenomenon's whimpering and gave her symphathetic glance. She nuzzled her shoulder. "Oh, Phenomenon..." Sock kind of felt awkward when she nuzzled Phenomenon. She hoped Phenomenon would see it as the comforting gesture it was.

[Ice]

Ice sat quietly, her gaze fixed upon the moon when she stood up and let out a haunting, but beautiful howl.

[Sock]

Sock blinked at Ice. Then, not really thinking, she tilted her rusty head back and let out a hoarse howl. Even with her eyes closed,the moon's bright light still filtered through her eye lids.

[Silentshadow]

Silentshadow lifted her tail high and joined her Beta's howl, her voice lifting and falling in an eerie melody.

[Sock]

Sock quieted her howl and opened her eyes. She sqiunted against the moonlight and stretched her neck towards the sky. It's like I can touch the moon... she thought dreamily.

[Ice]

Ice closed her eyes, her ears filled with mournful howls. There was an aching feeling in her heart. It reminded her of the times when she and her family used to howl together at night. But they were now... Gone. She dug her claws into the soft ground, at the memory, her lips curler bitterly. Just because of that heavy rain that day, her family was swept into a river and they couldn't swim. She was standing by the side that time, her eyes wide with horror as she watched them drown helplessly.

[Sock]

Sock sighed as she remembered her family. Her two brothers had gone off to start families. Mother and Father parted ways and Sock was left to decide her own future. The howling around her reminded her of when Mother and Father howled together while the three pups were lulled to sleep in the den by the melodic, smooth howls.
